# PAN Verification

Validate Permanent Account Numbers (PAN) against the database in real-time. This service ensures the identity of the person or entity you are transacting with is authentic and active.

## Available Verification Modes

* **Individual PAN Check**
  * **Purpose:** Confirms the identity of an individual.
  * **Data Returned:** Full Name (as per PAN), Father's Name (optional), and PAN Status (Active/Inactive).
* **Business (Entity) PAN Check**
  * **Purpose:** Validates the existence of firms, companies, or trusts.
  * **Data Returned:** Registered Entity Name, Date of Incorporation, and Category (e.g., Company, Firm, HUF).

| Real-time API | Instant response from the IT Department database.                            |
| Status Check  | Verify if the PAN is currently "Active" or has been "Deactivated/Operative." |
| Name Match    | Compare the user-provided name with the official record to prevent fraud.    |
| Seeding Info  | (Where available) Check if the PAN is linked with Aadhaar.                   |
